🌱 The ‘Strong Family’ project for 7th-grade students and their parents has concluded. The aim of the program is to strengthen the relationship between parents and children, develop positive child-rearing skills, and reduce family factors that negatively impact children’s well-being.

🌱 Since September, students and their parents have actively participated in various sessions aimed at solving different problems. The program included activities focused on strengthening family values, family unity, and support for schoolchildren and their parents.

🌱 The program consists of seven sections and covers the following topics: love and limits, family values and discipline, motivation for good behavior, and stress management.

🌱 At the closing ceremony, certificates were awarded to all participants. The school director Balkan Maratovich also acknowledged the value of the project and thanked the parents. In turn, parents expressed their gratitude to the coaches and school administration for allowing them to participate in this program.

  • ‘This program helped me to better understand my child. I want to thank the organizers of the event, who actively supported us, and note that after participating, I came to understand my child better,’ shared Saule Khudaibergenova, mother of Alua Nauryzbay, a 7th-grade L student.

It is worth mentioning that this project was developed by the School of Health and Social Well-being at Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom.
