Teachers who have higher pedagogical, higher vocational, technical education in the relevant profiles, post-secondary pedagogical education, as well as qualifications to perform full-time education have the right to participate in the competition for filling vacant positions and forming a personnel reserve of teachers in the branches of the autonomous educational organization “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”. loads by types of educational, educational, research work, profile-experimental work, including final year students of higher educational institutions in the relevant profiles, meeting the qualification requirements, promptly and in full providing all the necessary documents for the competition.
To participate in the competition, you must send your resume to the AEO website (section “Working at NIS”, career.nis.edu.kz).
The first stage of the competition consists of testing in a specialized subject and writing an essay.
The first stage can be carried out either in electronic or paper format.
The first stage is conducted in one of three languages – Kazakh, Russian or English at the choice of the applicant.
The development of the procedure and assessment tools for the first stage is carried out by the “Center for Pedagogical Measurements”.
The basis for a recommendation for the second stage of the competition is:
- 60% positive results in the first stage for applicants for the position of teacher;
- 50% of positive results at the first stage for applicants for the positions of educational psychologist, teacher-organizer-curator, additional education teacher, teacher-librarian, educator, assistant educator;
- 40% positive results in the first stage for applicants for the position of teaching assistant.
Applicants who are graduates of higher educational institutions without work experience with a result of 40-59% of positive results in the first stage can be recommended for the second stage.
The second stage of the competition is an interview between the competition commission and the applicant.
The applicant recommended for participation in the second stage of the competition provides the following documents:
- a copy of the applicant’s identity document (the applicant shall present the corresponding original document in person upon arrival at the second stage of the competition);
- a copy of a document confirming labor activity, certified by a notary or in another manner established by law;
- resume with photo;
- documents confirming professional education and qualifications, with the exception of final year students of higher educational institutions in the relevant profiles, who provide the required document after graduating from a higher educational institution;
- 1 photo size 3×4;
- medical certificate in the form established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
additional information regarding their education, work experience, professional level and reputation (copies of documents on advanced training, assignment of scientific/academic degrees and titles, characteristics, recommendations, scientific/methodological publications, etc.).
