🌱 On December 4, 2023, Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemical and Biological Direction in Shymkent, in collaboration with several schools of our city, organized and conducted a conference as part of the ‘NIS Talks’ project under the theme ‘ideas worth spreading,’ timed to December 16 – Independence Day, marking the country’s historic first step towards establishing a sovereign state.
🌱 Along with the students of the intellectual school, active speakers from general education city schools, gymnasiums No. 65 I. Altynsarina, No. 45, the lyceum school No. 24 named after S. Yerubayev, and ‘Parasat AJ’, international school ‘Alan’, NIS FMG school participated in the event, discussing thought-provoking issues beneficial to society in ‘NIS TALKS’.
The primary goal of organizing this conference was to establish joint relations between intellectual and city school students, enhance the younger generation’s skills in scientific research, public speaking, respect for various views and opinions, and promote leadership qualities.
It was evident that young speakers, while researching their chosen topics, thoroughly considered various opinions and points of view. Speakers regularly conveyed their thoughts on various topics to the audience during their allotted 7-10 minutes. For example, Rahmattella Ayazhan from lyceum school No. 45 on ‘Causes of Degradation of Modern Adolescents’ and Arnur Urazbaev from the international school Alan with interesting presentations on ‘The Path into the World of Coding’ captured the audience’s attention.
